We did well with Ikea. We chose their better line of wood cabinets, solid birch. We also chose their countertop by Caesarstone. Using their partnered contractors, and countertop installer is the way to go. They are familiar with the products and they do so many of these installations that they can do it with their eyes closed. From what I have read, many homeowners use their own contractors and sometimes they are good and sometimes not. Ikea products is a bit different so it is best to stick with those who know the products. The pricing was great especially if you purchase the products from February to April when they have their sale of 20% off on everything $5000.00. That includes the Caesarstone. What a break! We bought high end appliances from Vikings and Bosch and high end sink since I like quality. If you go with Caesarstone as oppose to a laminate, go and buy a better sink. Something that has a higher quality of stainless steel. If you ever wanted to change your sink out because it didn’t hold up or looked bad, you’d have to change the countertop that goes around the sink as well and that would be expensive. If you choose the best from each category of a kitchen, you can get a very high end kitchen with not so much the high end price.

Where to buy good quality stainless sink?

There is no shortage in a good quality sinks everywhere, we’ve changed ours which was a builder installed for a newer and deeper undermount sink which costed around $200. It looks grate, but we have to rearrange all pipes underneath. It could cost us much more than that sink, but my husband managed to do the job himself.
